Back during the run up to The Last Jedi, Daisy Ridley and her Murder on the Orient Express co-star Josh Gad released a series of videos from the set of that film where Gad attempted to get answers from Ridley to his questions about the next Star Wars film.  The videos caught more and more elaborate as they went, with the duo eventually enlisting their co-star Judi Dench, as well as several other celebrities (including JJ Abrams and then-Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow), all of which culminated in Gad hosting the The Last Jedi preview panel at Celebration Orlando in 2017.

So far we've seen several trailers, countless TV spots, a couple of featurettes and one actual clip from Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, which hits theaters in two weeks.  And all of them have been released in relatively traditional ways (on TV, online, etc.), but Lucasfilm is trying something new as a way to release a new clip from the film.  It was announced today that a scene from The Rise of Skywalker would debut in the video game Fortnite, on December 14th at 2pm ET.

Watch The "Dedication Moment" For The 'Rise of the Resistance' Ride At Disney World

Anyone whose been to a Galaxy's Edge park, either in California or Florida, will tell you it's an incredible experience.  It really is.  However, it's clear that the fact the Rise of the Resistance ride wasn't ready to open when the parks did earlier this year left a bit of a whole in the park.  Luckily, the ride is set to open, at long last, tomorrow in Disney World in Florida (sadly, however, it still won't open until January 17th in California).

Disney+ has obviously become a massive success in a short amount of time. The streaming service gained over 10 million subscribers in its first day, and has been steadily growing ever since. It has been an especially big hit with Star Wars fans as it introduced us to the first ever live-action Star Wars series The Mandalorian. While Mando continues to garner rave reviews from critics and fans, it's become clear that this is just the tip of the ice berg for Star Wars content on Disney+.

Earlier this week, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker director JJ Abrams made an appearance on Good Morning America, where he revealed that a copy of the film's script wound up on eBay.  Abrams revealed that one of the film's stars had left their script under their bed only to have found by someone who was cleaning their house, who then gave it to someone else who tried to sell it.  Luckily Disney was able to catch wind of the listing, and get it taken down (and the script returned).

Daisy Ridley made an appearance on The Tonight Show last night to promote The Rise of Skywalker, where she chatted all things Star Wars with host Jimmy Fallon.  First Fallon asked her about what it was like getting cast as Rey back in 2014.  Then she was asked about her surprise appearance in the D23 preview as "Dark Rey", and whether she is a bigger fan of Porgs or Baby Yoda, the breakout star of The Mandalorian.  She also did a rap recap of the entire Star Wars saga, with some backing from The Roots.

One of the new characters we'll be meeting in Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is Jannah, played by newcomer Naomi Ackie.  Though Ackie has been a big part of the film's promotion, appearing at both Celebration and D23 as well as on the Triple Force Friday live stream (where she saw the first Jannah action figure for the first time), little is still known about Jannah.  While details about the character will likely remain mysterious until December, Ackie did offer a few teases while also talking about what it was like for her to be cast in the film in a recent interview with the LA Times.

United Airlines Reveals New 'The Rise Of Skywalker' Footage

By: Benjamin Hart

I think it's safe to assume we're all still reeling from the release of the final trailer for Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker earlier this week. As we continue to break down the trailer, even more footage from the film has surfaced, and it comes from the most unlikely source.

Recently United Airlines unveiled a brand new inflight safety video. What's special about this video is the fact that it is completely Star Wars themed and features many tie-ins with The Rise Of Skywalker. The 5-minute long video includes the standard airline safety instructions you're familiar with done with a Star Wars twist.

Freddie Prinze Jr. Talks 'Star Wars' Fans, The Force In Epic Rant

We're used to hearing Freddie Prinze Jr as the voice of Kanan Jarrus, the jaded Jedi Master on Star Wars Rebels, so hearing him talk about the Force and balance of the Force is always a treat.  The actor made an appearance on The Friendship Pod, where he went on an incredible (and profane) rant about Star Wars.  Among the topics addressed are balance of the Force, Darth Maul, and Star Wars fans complaining about the new movies. Check out the three minute video below,

Ever since the sequel trilogy films started being made, there have been questions about just how involved (or uninvolved) Star Wars creator George Lucas has been, as well as how Lucas truly feels about the new films.  Well, wonder no more.  Disney CEO Bob Iger recently released a new memoir, titled The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company, in which he discusses, in a fair amount of detail, exactly what went down with Lucas' involvement in the new Star Wars films.
