Ever since the launch of #ForceForChange in 2015, Lucasfilm has been holding contest and raffles that aim to give Star Wars the chance to win some cool prizes by making positive contributions to the world. This year, they're encouraging fans to engage in some creativity by submitting their own designs for a new droid that will appear in a future Star Wars project. The winner will also get to attend the world premiere of The Rise of Skywalker in December.
To launch the new challenge, Lucasfilm released a new video on the Star Wars YouTube channel featuring Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, BB-8, D-0, and Mark Hamill. Check it out below,
Designs must be submitted prior to November 13th at 12:59:59pm PT, and designers must be 16 or older. The contest in open to fans in the US, Canada (excluding Quebec), Mexico, Great Britain, Spain, France, Belgium, and Japan. Designs can be submitted at: www.buildmydroidcontest.com
