Freddie Prinze Jr. Talks 'Star Wars' Fans, The Force In Epic Rant

We're used to hearing Freddie Prinze Jr as the voice of Kanan Jarrus, the jaded Jedi Master on Star Wars Rebels, so hearing him talk about the Force and balance of the Force is always a treat.  The actor made an appearance on The Friendship Pod, where he went on an incredible (and profane) rant about Star Wars.  Among the topics addressed are balance of the Force, Darth Maul, and Star Wars fans complaining about the new movies. Check out the three minute video below,

I have to hand it to Freddie Prinze Jr for that awesome rant!  He nails a lot of things that people sometimes miss about the universe that George Lucas set up, including how the Force is not a set of video game-esque powers but something far larger and more mystical.  His take down of fans complaining about the new films is also on point.  And the comparison between Darth Maul and Sisyphus is one that I hadn't considered, but is perfectly apt for the depiction of the character by the time of Rebels.

All of this makes me glad we got Freddie Prinze Jr in Star Wars, and makes me hope we might see Kanan pop up somewhere else in the story at some point down the line.
