The impact Star Wars as a whole has made on the world is almost unfathomable. 42 after its introduction the space opera continues to make an impression on our lives and our culture. Next month the franchise will reach another milestone with the end of the Skywalker saga.

Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker is due for release in less than a month and Lucasfilm has just released a new "special look" at the film which also takes a look at the history of Star Wars and its effect on pop culture. The heartwarming video features a ton of different clips, from beloved Star Wars references in popular media, to interviews with cast members and other celebrities expressing their admiration of the saga.

But perhaps the most interesting aspect of the video is brand new behind the scenes footage from The Rise Of Skywalker. We see director J.J. Abrams and many others on set, including actor/singer/playright Lin-Manuel Miranda dressed in a Resistance soldier's uniform and musician Ed Sheeren in a First Order Stormtrooper costume. You can check out the full video below:

Star Wars Episode IX: The Rise of Skywalker hits theaters on December 20th, 2019. The film is directed by JJ Abrams, with a script by Abrams and Chris Terio, and stars Daisy Ridley, Adam Driver, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac, Kelly Marie Tran, Mark Hamill, Billy Dee Williams, Keri Russell, Richard E. Grant, Naomi Ackie, Lupita Nyong'o, Domhnall Gleeson, Joonas Suotamo, Dominic Monaghan, Billie Lourd, and Carrie Fisher.
