This Fall and Winter is going to be huge for Star Wars! In addition to the release of Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker and the video game Jedi: Fallen Order, Disney+ will also be launching, and with it, the first ever live-action Star Wars series. Star Wars: The Mandalorian, written and executive produced by Jon Favreau, is set to launch with Disney+, and we got a sneak peek at it during Star Wars Celebration Chicago. Now it appears we're going to learn even more about the series very soon.

StarWars.com has announced that The Mandalorian will be coming to Disney's D23 Expo next month! A special preview of the series will be presented during the Disney+ panel on August 23rd at 3:30 PM in Hall D23. Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, who is also executive producing and directing for The Mandalorian, will be on stage along with other unknown "special guests".

In addition to that, it has also been revealed that Lucasfilm will have its own pavilion on the D23 show floor. On display at the pavilion will be an exhibit exploring the evolution of Stormtroopers(the same exhibit that will also be on display SDCC), featuring various Stormtroopers costumes, including the newly revealed Sith Trooper. There will also be various children's activities, including the opportunity to view Galaxy Of Adventures shorts.

Back at Star Wars Celebration Chicago(if you were lucky enough to get into The Mandalorian panel) we were treated to a lot of amazing footage, but none of it was released to the public. Hopefully D23 will provide us with some brand new footage from The Mandalorian that will also debut online for all to see.

D23 Expo will descend upon Anaheim, Cal August 23rd -25th!
