Season Two Of 'The Mandalorian' Will Still Debut In October, Despite COVID-19

Since the outbreak of COVID-19 earlier this year and the worldwide lockdown that's taken effect to curb its spread, many things have been been left up in the air. This is especially true for Hollywood as productions on countless television series and movies have been postponed. This has led many to question the near future of the Star Wars franchise, especially the production of the second season of The Mandalorian.

Hype has been building for Disney+ recently as we draw closer to its official launch! Unfortunately the new streaming service will only be available to those in the United States, Canada, The Netherlands, Australia and New Zealand starting later this month. Those in the rest of the world will have to wait a bit longer, but thankfully not too much longer.

Bob Iger Shares What Happened With George Lucas And The Sequel Trilogy In New Memoir
Ever since the sequel trilogy films started being made, there have been questions about just how involved (or uninvolved) Star Wars creator George Lucas has been, as well as how Lucas truly feels about the new films. Well, wonder no more. Disney CEO Bob Iger recently released a new memoir, titled The Ride of a Lifetime: Lessons Learned from 15 Years as CEO of the Walt Disney Company, in which he discusses, in a fair amount of detail, exactly what went down with Lucas' involvement in the new Star Wars films.
