Lucasfilm has released the second half the second season of Star Wars: Force of Destiny today to coincide with International Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!). The new episodes of the animated micro-series feature stories from across the saga and feature characters like Padme Amidala, Sabine Wren, Leia Organa, and Rey. In addition, the episodes feature many actors reprising their roles from the films and other animated series, including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, and Vanessa Marshall. "Chopper and Friends"
Set in the immediate aftermath of the battle of Endor, this episode shows what happens when a couple of Star Wars Rebels fan favourites team up with a pair of Ewoks to battle some suriving members of the Imperial fleet. "Chopper and Friends" features Vannessa Marshall and Dave Filoni reprising their Rebels roles as Hera Syndula and Chopper, respectively
"Monster Misunderstanding"
Set around the time of The Phantom Menace, this episode sees Padme Amidala dealing with a situation when a sea monster attacks the Naboo docks. Cat Taber reprises her role as Padme from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the episode.
"Art History"
Another episode featuring characters from Star Wars Rebels. Set between the Rebels season three episodes "Legacy of Mandalore" and "Zero Hour", "Art History" shows Sabine Wren and her brother Tristan when they discover the Empire has defaced a famous Mandalorian statue. The episode sees Tiya Sircar and Ritesh Rajan reprising their roles as Sabine and Tristan, respectively.
"Porgs!"
Set during the events of The Last Jedi, "Porgs!" shows us another moment in the burgeoning friendship between Chewbacca and the island birds. An interesting feature of the episode, it features no English (or basic, if you prefer) and all the dialogue is spoke in Wookiee (shryriiwook), Porg, and droid.
"Perilous Pursuit"
Set during the events of The Force Awakens, this episode features Rey and Finn escaping The First Order on Starkiller Base in a thrilling speeder chase. This episode appears to have been inspired by the deleted scene from The Force Awakens, which featured a similar chase sequence. "Perilous Pursuit" also features Daisy Ridley and John Boyega reprising their roles as Rey and Finn, respectively, from the live action films.
"Traps and Tribulations"
Another episode set on Endor featuring adventures with Ewoks! This episode features Luke and Leia as they help the Ewoks take down a Gorax that is threatening their village. Mark Hamill reprises his role as Luke in the episode, while Leia is once again voiced by Shelby Young.
"A Disarming Lesson"
To close out the second season, we have another Rebels tie-in episode! Set some point during the events of Rebels season two, this episode features Ahsoka Tano teaching Ezra Bridger a lesson about using the Force in combat. "A Disarming Lesson" marks the debut of Taylor Gray on Forces of Destiny, reprising his role as Ezra from Rebels. Ashley Eckstein also reprises her roles as Ahsoka from Rebels and The Clone Wars.
