New 'Forces of Destiny' Episode Featuring Qi'Ra Released

If you're looking for more stories starring the characters from Solo: A Star Wars Story then the animated micro-series, Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, has you covered.  The latest episode, which is titled "Triplecross", was released online today and features a Qi'Ra adventure.  "Triplecross" sees Qi'Ra coming face-to-face with two notorious members of the criminal underworld, Hondo Ohnaka (once again voiced by Jim Cummings) from Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and IG-88 from The Empire Strikes Back.  Check out the episode below,

Qi'Ra Episode of 'Forces of Destiny' To Debut on Friday

Lucasfilm announced today that a new episode of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny will be released on Friday and it will feature Qi'Ra, the character played by Emilia Clarke in Solo: A Star Wars Story.  The episode will be included in the TV special airing on Disney Channel on Friday and the Disney YouTube channel.  The announcement was made during the latest episode of The Star Wars Show on YouTube (which also features interviews with the cast of Solo).  Check it out below,

Seven New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Released

Lucasfilm has released the second half the second season of Star Wars: Force of Destiny today to coincide with International Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!).  The new episodes of the animated micro-series feature stories from across the saga and feature characters like Padme Amidala, Sabine Wren, Leia Organa, and Rey.  In addition, the episodes feature many actors reprising their roles from the films and other animated series, including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, and Vanessa Marshall.  You can see all the new episode below,

New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes to be Released Tomorrow

To coincide with International Star Wars Day tomorrow (aka May the 4th be with you), Lucasfilm will be releasing eight new episodes of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The episodes will be released on the official Disney YouTube channel at 10am PT, and then will be collected into a half hour TV special which will air May 25th (same day as Solo hits theaters, also the 41st anniversary of Star Wars) on Disney Channel.  The eight new episodes will feature characters such as Rey, Finn, Ahasoka Tano, Padme Amidala, Leia Organa, Luke Skywalker, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulaa, and Ezra Bridger.  You can read the episode descriptions below,

The latest series of episodes in the animated mico-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny were released online on the official Disney YouTube channel today.  The episodes feature characters from across all Star Wars time periods, including Padme Amidala, Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Jyn Erso, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Maz Kanata, Rose Tico, and Rey.  They also feature many of the characters' original actors reprising their roles for the series, including Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, Lupita Nyong'o, and Mark Hamill.  You can see all eight episodes below,

New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Coming March 19th

Lucasfilm announced today that eight more episodes of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny will debut on the Disney YouTube channel on Monday March 19th at 10:00am PT.  The episodes will also all air together as a TV special on the Disney Channel on March 25th at 9:50pm.  This new season will feature episodes focused on Ahsoka Tano, Padme Amidala, Rose Tico, Rey, Jyn Erso, Leia Organa, and Luke Skywalker.  Luke will be the first male character to received their own episode of the series (though characters like Han Solo, Anakin Skywalker, and Finn have appeared on the series, they have been in supporting roles).

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the latest episode in the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The episode, which is titled "Crash Course", features many of the stars of Star Wars Rebels reprising their roles.  The episode features Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar), Hera Syndulla (Vanessa Marshall), and Ketsu Onyo (Gina Torres) on a mission set sometime during the events of Rebels season two.  Check it out below,

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the latest episode in the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The episode, which is titled "The Happabore Hazard", takes place just prior to the events of The Force Awakens and stars Daisy Ridley as Rey.  "The Happabore Hazard" shows Rey scavenging the Quad Jumper on Jakku in The Force Awakens for Unkar Plutt.  Check out the episode below,

Forces of Destiny: The Starfighter Stunt

Lucasfilm and Disney have released another episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny online today.  The episode, titled "The Starfighter Stunt", features Ahsoka Tano and Padme Amidala taking on a vulture droid from their Naboo N-1 Starfighters.  The episode is a The Clone Wars reunion of sorts, with voice actors Ashley Eckstein and Catherine Taber as Ahsoka and Padme, respectively.  The episode, which originally aired as part of the Forces of Destiny half hour TV special on the Disney Channel on Sunday and you can now watch it for yourself below,

Forces of Destiny: Teach You, I Will

Lucasfilm and Disney have released another episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny online today.  The episode, titled "Teach You, I Will", deals with padawan Ahsoka Tano learning to fight with her second lightsaber from both Anakin Skywalker and Yoda.  The episode is a The Clone Wars reunion of sorts, with voice actors Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, and Tom Kane reprising their roles as Ahsoka, Anakin, and Yoda respectively.  The episode, which originally aired as part of the Forces of Destiny half hour TV special on the Disney Channel on Sunday and you can now watch it for yourself below,

Forces of Destiny: Tracker Trouble

Forces of Destiny: Newest Recruit

Lucasfilm and Disney have released a new episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny on YouTube prior to the release of the half hour Forces of Destiny special airing on Disney Channel tonight.  The new episode, titled "Newest Recruit" features a trio of Star Wars Rebels heroines, Sabine Wren, Hera  Syndulla, and Ketsu Onyo in an adventure set on the planet Gorel.  "Newest Recruit" also features the original voice cast returning to play their characters, including Firefly star Gina Torres as Ketsu.  The episode takes place between Ketsu's appearances in Season Two of Rebels.  Check it out below,

New 'Star Wars: Forces of Destiny' Trailer

Lucasfilm has released the official trailer for the next batch of episodes of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The trailer features looks at new episodes that will feature characters like Rey, Jyn Erso, Leia Organa, Padme Amidala, Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Ketsu Onyo, and Maz Kanata.  Also featured in the trailer are Anakin Skywalker, Han Solo, Yoda, Finn, and Unkar Plutt.  The new episodes will in TV specials on the Disney Channel on October 1st and 29th.  Check it out below,

Jennifer Muro Talks About What to Expect From the Second Season of 'Forces of Destiny'

The release of the second season of the animated mircoseries of Star Wars: Forces of Destiny will be released in a slightly different format than the first season.  The first season was released as individual shorts on the Disney YouTube channel and were then released on Disney XD as interstitials a week later. However, according to The Hollywood Reporter, the second season will debut as thirty minute TV special on Disney XD in October.  Forces of Destiny writer Jennifer Muro spoke with IGN recently and she spoke about how the second season will be released,

SDCC 2017: Hasbro Panel Reveals & Recap

Hasbro have announced a new range of  Star Wars toys that are set to be released in the not too distant future, including black series figures of General Organa and Maz Kanata, and Rey's Force FX lightsaber.  SWU Head Writer Dominic Jones was in attendance and here's what he saw!

In addition, a vintage collection of super articulated 3.75" figures will be released in Spring 2018. this will include figures of classic characters as well as new ones from new projects such as a Rey, Kylo, Dr Aphra, Jyn, Cassian, a Death Trooper and First Order stormtrooper.

Forces of Destiny: Bounty of Trouble

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the eighth episode of the new animated micro series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The series shines the spotlight on the heroines of the Star Wars galaxy, with each 2-3 minute episode shining the spotlight on a different female hero.  The eighth episode, titled "Bounty of Trouble," features Sabine Wren "kidnapping" Princess Leia so the secret rebel can pass along some classified Imperial information.  "Bounty of Trouble" stars Tiya Sircar as Sabine alongside Shelby Young as Leia, and also features an introductory voice over from Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.  Check out the episode below,
