Video: Behind The Scenes Of The Clone Wars' Ahsoka Vs Maul Duel

We are currently smack dab in the middle of Star Wars: The Clone Wars' series finale episode arc "The Siege Of Mandalore", and one of the biggest highlights of the story so far was the epic climactic Lightsaber duel between Darth Maul and Ahsoka Tano in the episode "The Phantom Apprentice". What many may not realize is that an unprecedented amount work went into making this duel a reality, and Lucasfilm has finally pulled back the curtain on how it all went down.

Ashley Eckstein Talks 'Clone Wars' Season Seven, The Legacy Of Ahsoka Tano

“Being the voice of Ahsoka Tano has changed my life and it’s changed it for the better.”

Star Wars: The Clone Wars actress Ashley Eckstein has reflected on the legacy of her beloved character Ahsoka Tano as the epic TV series nears its end point in a new interview with The Star Wars Underworld Podcast.

The final season, which continues to be released weekly on Disney+, has provided fans with a jaw-dropping set of episodes. It is likely to bring us a fulfilling conclusion to a TV series and movie that kicked off over 10 years ago in August 2008. Although, its legacy could last for decades.

'The Clone Wars' Season Seven Trailer & Clips Released At Celebration Chicago

Ever since it was announced that Star Wars: The Clone Wars is coming back, fans of the series have been clamoring for more details about the return of the series.  Today, they got their wish as supervising director Dave Filoni, and cast members Dee Bradley Baker (the Clones), Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano), and Sam Witwer (Maul) took the stage at Star Wars Celebration Chicago to preview the new season.  They showed three clips, and an amazing new trailer that brought the audience to their feet.  You can see those clips and trailer below,

More Star Wars Celebration Guests & Podcast Stage Roster Announced

We're now less than 70 days away from Star Wars Celebration Chicago, Lucasfilm's official fan convention, taking place April 11th-15th at McCormmick Place.  One of the highlights of the show is the opportunity for fans to meet and get autographs from the people who helped create the galaxy far, far away, and today Lucasfilm announced six more guests, covering a wide range of Star Wars projects, who will be on hand in Chicago.

'The Clone Wars' Tenth Anniversary SDCC Panel Guests Revealed

Lucasfilm is celebrating the tenth anniversary of the Emmy-award winning animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars at San Diego Comic Con this year.  On Thursday July 19th at 11:45am in Room 6BCF an hour-long panel featuring members of the cast and crew will look back on the history of the series will take place.  The panel will be hosted by Nerdist's Amy Ratcliffe, and will feature supervising director Dave Filoni, producer Athena Portillo, composer Kevin Kiner, and stars Ashley Eckstein (Ahsoka Tano) and Matt Lanter (Anakin Skywalker).  The panel was announced two weeks ago, and the panelists were revealed on this week's episode of The Star Wars Show, which you can watch below,

Seven New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Released

Lucasfilm has released the second half the second season of Star Wars: Force of Destiny today to coincide with International Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!).  The new episodes of the animated micro-series feature stories from across the saga and feature characters like Padme Amidala, Sabine Wren, Leia Organa, and Rey.  In addition, the episodes feature many actors reprising their roles from the films and other animated series, including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, and Vanessa Marshall.  You can see all the new episode below,

Eight New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Released

The latest series of episodes in the animated mico-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny were released online on the official Disney YouTube channel today.  The episodes feature characters from across all Star Wars time periods, including Padme Amidala, Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Jyn Erso, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Maz Kanata, Rose Tico, and Rey.  They also feature many of the characters' original actors reprising their roles for the series, including Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, Lupita Nyong'o, and Mark Hamill.  You can see all eight episodes below,

Forces of Destiny: The Starfighter Stunt

Lucasfilm and Disney have released another episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny online today.  The episode, titled "The Starfighter Stunt", features Ahsoka Tano and Padme Amidala taking on a vulture droid from their Naboo N-1 Starfighters.  The episode is a The Clone Wars reunion of sorts, with voice actors Ashley Eckstein and Catherine Taber as Ahsoka and Padme, respectively.  The episode, which originally aired as part of the Forces of Destiny half hour TV special on the Disney Channel on Sunday and you can now watch it for yourself below,

Forces of Destiny: Teach You, I Will

Lucasfilm and Disney have released another episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny online today.  The episode, titled "Teach You, I Will", deals with padawan Ahsoka Tano learning to fight with her second lightsaber from both Anakin Skywalker and Yoda.  The episode is a The Clone Wars reunion of sorts, with voice actors Ashley Eckstein, Matt Lanter, and Tom Kane reprising their roles as Ahsoka, Anakin, and Yoda respectively.  The episode, which originally aired as part of the Forces of Destiny half hour TV special on the Disney Channel on Sunday and you can now watch it for yourself below,

Jon Hamm, Neil Patrick Harris, Ashley Eckstein, and More to Narrate 'From A Certain Point Of View' Audiobook

Lucasfilm has revealed the all star voice cast for the audiobook of the upcoming short story anthology Star Wars: From A Certain Point Of View, which celebrates the 40th anniversary of Star Wars by retelling A New Hope from the point of view of forty different secondary and background characters written by forty different authors.  The cast includes some surprise, big name celebrities like Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother), Star Wars fan favourites like Ashley Eckstein (Star Wars: The Clone Wars) and Janina Gavankar (Star Wars Battlefront II), and audiobook staples like Jonathan Davis and Marc Daniels.  Check out the full list below,

Del Rey Previews 'From A Certain Point Of View' Short Stories on Twitter

We're less than three weeks away from the release of the upcoming collection of short stories, Star Wars: From A Certain Point of View, which retells the story of A New Hope from perspective of various secondary and background characters.  The book, which features stories by forty different authors, is being released in celebration of the 40th anniversary of Star Wars. Forces of Destiny: The Imposter Inside

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the sixth episode of the new animated micro series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The series shines the spotlight on the heroines of the Star Wars galaxy, with each 2-3 minute episode shining the spotlight on a different female hero.  The sixth episode, titled "The Imposter Inside," features Ahsoka Tano and Padme Amidala facing off with an intruder at Padme's apartment.  "The Imposter Inside" stars Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano and Cat Taber as Padme Amidala, and also features an introductory voice over from Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.  Check out the episode below,

Forces of Destiny: The Padawan Path

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the fourth episode of the new animated micro series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The series shines the spotlight on the heroines of the Star Wars galaxy, with each 2-3 minute episode shining the spotlight on a different female hero.  The fourth episode, titled "The Padawn Path," features Ahsoka Tano's adventure on Coruscant as she races back to the Jedi Temple for a ceremony with Master Yoda and Anaking Skywalker.  "The Padawan Path" reunites Ashley Eckstein  as Ahsoka Tano, Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, and Tom Kane as Yoda from Star Wars: The Clone Wars, and also features an introductory voice over from Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.  Check out the episode below,

Ashley Eckstein Talks 'Forces of Destiny on 'The Star Wars Show'

Earlier this week Lucasfilm announced that the animated micro series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny would be debuting on the Disney YouTube channel on July 3rd, with new episodes being released daily leading up to the episodes airing on Disney Channel as interstitials on July 9th.  To celebrate the upcoming release of the series, which will span multiple eras with each episode featuring a different female character from the saga, Ashley Eckstein, the voice of Ahsoka Tano, appeared on The Star Wars Show.  Eckstein chatted with host Andi Gutierrez about returning to Ahsoka in the clone wars era (where the character began), the evolution of female characters in Star Wars, and more.  Check it out below,

The fourth weekend of Star Wars Weekends commenced at Disney's Hollywood Studios on this day back in 2015.

In the same year that Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens hit cinemas and Star Wars Celebration returned to California,  Star Wars weekends remained one of Lucasfilm's biggest events of that year.

Star Wars Weekends IV featured special guest appearances from Ray Park, who played Darth Maul in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace, and the man who donned the iconic Boba Fett outfit, Jeremy Bulloch.

Ashley Eckstein, who voiced Ahsoka Tano in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars: Rebels, also made an appearance as a guest from June 5 - 7.

BREAKING: New Animated Series 'Forces of Destiny' Announced

With just hours to go before Star Wars Celebration kicks off in Orlando, Lucasfim has announced a brand series of animated series focusing on the heroines of Star Wars! The series is titled Star Wars: Forces of Destiny and will debut on the Disney YouTube channel this July.  The series will cover multiple eras of Star Wars and will feature Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o, and Felicity Jones reprising their roles as Rey, Maz Kanata and Jyn Erso in the series.  Also reprising their roles on the series are Star Wars animation veterans Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, and Vanessa Marhsall as Hera Syndulla.
