Video: Tiya Sircar And Other Celebrities Try 'Vader Immortal'

Earlier this year, ILMxLAB launched a brand new virtual reality experience for the Oculus Quest, called Vader Immortal: A Star Wars VR Series.  The first of three "episodes" were released when the Quest launched, with two more coming later this year.  The story, which is set between Revenge of the Sith and A New Hope, takes place in Darth Vader's mysterious castle on Mustafar (seen in Rogue One) and allows you to explore the castle, the planet, and train to become a Jedi.

Seven New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Released

Lucasfilm has released the second half the second season of Star Wars: Force of Destiny today to coincide with International Star Wars Day (May the 4th be with you!).  The new episodes of the animated micro-series feature stories from across the saga and feature characters like Padme Amidala, Sabine Wren, Leia Organa, and Rey.  In addition, the episodes feature many actors reprising their roles from the films and other animated series, including Daisy Ridley, Mark Hamill, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, and Vanessa Marshall.  You can see all the new episode below,

Eight New 'Forces of Destiny' Episodes Released

The latest series of episodes in the animated mico-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny were released online on the official Disney YouTube channel today.  The episodes feature characters from across all Star Wars time periods, including Padme Amidala, Ahsoka Tano, Sabine Wren, Hera Syndulla, Jyn Erso, Luke Skywalker, Leia Organa, Maz Kanata, Rose Tico, and Rey.  They also feature many of the characters' original actors reprising their roles for the series, including Daisy Ridley, Kelly Marie Tran, John Boyega, Ashley Eckstein, Tiya Sircar, Lupita Nyong'o, and Mark Hamill.  You can see all eight episodes below,

Video: 'Star Wars Rebels' Finale Screening Cast and Crew Q&A

SPOILER ALERT! This videos featured in this article address the series finale of Star Wars Rebels in-depth.  If you have not seen the episodes yet, stop reading now!

Last night the series finale of Star Wars Rebels aired on Disney XD, bringing to an end the first piece of "new" Star Wars developed for the Disney era.  The finale wrapped up the stories of the main cast, while leaving more than a few mysteries for more stories with the characters down the line.  The finale was first screened a couple of days earlier for select fans on the Walt Disney Studio lot and following that screening a Q&A with the cast and crew was held.  The Q&A was hosted by Amy Ratcliffe and featured executive producer Dave Filoni and stars Taylor Gray (Ezra), Tiya Sircar (Sabine), Steve Blum (Zeb), and Vanessa Marshall (Hera).  You can check out the video of the Q&A (courtesy of our friends at Skywalking Through Neverland) below,

Forces of Destiny: Crash Course

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the latest episode in the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The episode, which is titled "Crash Course", features many of the stars of Star Wars Rebels reprising their roles.  The episode features Sabine Wren (Tiya Sircar), Hera Syndulla (Vanessa Marshall), and Ketsu Onyo (Gina Torres) on a mission set sometime during the events of Rebels season two.  Check it out below,

Forces of Destiny: Accidental Allies

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the latest episode in the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The episode, which is titled "Accidental Allies," unites characters from the animated series Star Wars Rebels and the film Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, both set in approximately the same era.  The episode stars Felicity Jones as Jyn Erso alongside Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren and Vanessa Marshall as Hera Syndulla.  You can check it out below,

Forces of Destiny: Newest Recruit

Lucasfilm and Disney have released a new episode of the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny on YouTube prior to the release of the half hour Forces of Destiny special airing on Disney Channel tonight.  The new episode, titled "Newest Recruit" features a trio of Star Wars Rebels heroines, Sabine Wren, Hera  Syndulla, and Ketsu Onyo in an adventure set on the planet Gorel.  "Newest Recruit" also features the original voice cast returning to play their characters, including Firefly star Gina Torres as Ketsu.  The episode takes place between Ketsu's appearances in Season Two of Rebels.  Check it out below,

Forces of Destiny: Bounty of Trouble

Lucasfilm and Disney have released the eighth episode of the new animated micro series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny.  The series shines the spotlight on the heroines of the Star Wars galaxy, with each 2-3 minute episode shining the spotlight on a different female hero.  The eighth episode, titled "Bounty of Trouble," features Sabine Wren "kidnapping" Princess Leia so the secret rebel can pass along some classified Imperial information.  "Bounty of Trouble" stars Tiya Sircar as Sabine alongside Shelby Young as Leia, and also features an introductory voice over from Lupita Nyong'o as Maz Kanata.  Check out the episode below,

'Rogue One' & 'Star Wars Rebels' Take Home Several Saturn Awards

Star Wars was given some much deserved acknowledgements at the 43rd annual Saturn Awards, which was held in Burbank, California in last night! The event was hosted by Guardians Of The Galaxy star Sean Gunn and presented accolades to an assortment of film and television productions. Among them were the most recent Star Wars film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, and the ongoing animated series, Star Wars Rebels.

Rogue One received several nominations, including nods for Best Film Make-UpBest Film Costume DesignBest Film MusicBest Film Production Design, and Best Film Editing. Rogue One stars Felicity Jones and Diego Luna were also nominated for Best Actress in a Film and Best Supporting Actor in a Film, respectively.

BREAKING: New Animated Series 'Forces of Destiny' Announced

With just hours to go before Star Wars Celebration kicks off in Orlando, Lucasfim has announced a brand series of animated series focusing on the heroines of Star Wars! The series is titled Star Wars: Forces of Destiny and will debut on the Disney YouTube channel this July.  The series will cover multiple eras of Star Wars and will feature Daisy Ridley, Lupita Nyong'o, and Felicity Jones reprising their roles as Rey, Maz Kanata and Jyn Erso in the series.  Also reprising their roles on the series are Star Wars animation veterans Ashley Eckstein as Ahsoka Tano, Matt Lanter as Anakin Skywalker, Tiya Sircar as Sabine Wren, and Vanessa Marhsall as Hera Syndulla. Tiya Sircar Discusses the Development of Sabine on 'Star Wars Rebels'

The last episode of Star Wars Rebels before the hiatus was a huge one for the character of Sabine Wren. The character's backstory had been left largely unexplored for the first two and a half season, but was brought to the forefront in a major way in "Trials of the Darksaber" and will continue to be explored in the next episode "Legacy of Mandalore" (which airs on February 18th).  But while Sabine's backstory is just now being revealed to fans, actress Sabine (who voices the character) recently told ComicBook.com that she's known Sabine's backstory from the beginning.

'Rebels' Stars Sam Witwer and Tiya Sircar Are Going to Celebration Europe

A couple of members of the Star Wars Rebels cast have announced as guests for the upcoming Star Wars Celebration Europe in London (insert Brexit joke here), which takes place at the ExCel Center from July 15th-17th.  Tiya Sircar, who plays Sabine Wren on the series, and Sam Witwer, who reprised his role as Darth Maul from Star Wars: The Clone Wars in the Season Two finale, will be joining Executive Producer Dave Filoni to give fans an exclusive preview of the upcoming third season of Rebels.  The announcement was made on Twitter by Lucasfilm Publicist Tracy Cannobbio,


The big Star Wars Rebels panel will take place Saturday evening at Celebration, starting at 6pm GMT on the Celebration Stage.  The panel will feature Filoni, Sircar, and Witwer previewing next season and will conclude with the premiere of the first two episodes of Season Three.

Star Wars Rebels 'Idiot's Array' Episode Guide Released

The ninth episode of Star Wars Rebels, "Idiot's Array" aired on Disney XD tonight and, as usual, Lucasfilm released the episode guide on StarWars.com shortly thereafter.  The guide features some trivia about the episode (like the origin of Azmorigan and Sabacc's origins), concept art (including the break down of Ezra's lightsaber seen below), and lots of stills from the episode.
