The effects of Solo: A Star Wars Story's upcoming release are going to be felt across multiple platforms in the Star Wars saga. Just today, Lucasfilm and EA revealed that Star Wars Battlefront II will soon be devoting an entire season of content to Solo, bringing some much sought after maps and elements into the game.

The announcement, which was was made on StarWars.com, elaborates that the first batch of new content will feature a heavy Return Of The Jedi theme. Included will be a new Jabba's Palace map, which is a stunning recreation of the infamous gangster's compound that is playable in BlastHeroes vs. Villains and the new Hero Showdown game mode. In addition, Leia in her Boushh disguise and Lando in his Skiff guard costume will now be playable character skins that can be purchased with credits or crystals in-game.

Hero Showdown is the newest game mode that's included. It is a round-based elimination mode that allows you to pair up two heroes and two villains and pit them against each other. The Millennium Falcon will also be made playable in the Starfighter Custom Arcade mode.

All of the aforementioned content will available to players starting on May 16th. And if that leaves you still wanting more, elements from Solo: A Star Wars Story are expected to make their way into the game in June.
