Way back in June of last year we learned that Luke Skywalker himself, Mark Hamill, would be honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. Now, we finally have the full details on when and where the ceremony will take place, and who will be in there.
Today we have learned (via Variety) that the official Walk of Fame website has been updated to include all the information regarding when Hamill's star will be unveiled. The star will be located at 6834 Hollywood Boulevard in front of the El Capitan Theatre, and the dedication will take place on March 8th at 11:30am (Pacific).
Hamill's star will be 2,630th star added to the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame, and some big names will be joining Mark for the reveal. The Maker himself, George Lucas, and Han Solo actor Harrison Ford have been confirmed as guest speakers at the dedication.
For those unable to attend in person, the entire will be live-stramed on Walk of Fame site.
Once again, massive congratulations are in order to Mark for this much deserved honor!
