By Ciaran Duggan,

A new Star Wars: Battlefront trailer has been published online, featuring footage from the upcoming 'Rogue One' DLC pack.  The Lucasfilm marketing wagon has been in fall swing today. Hot on the heels of a new Rogue One behind-the-scenes featurette, EA have matched Lucasfilm by releasing a new Battlefront trailer.  The trailer discloses footage from previous downloadable content, including levels on Bespin, the Outer Rim and the Death Star.

New footage is also unveiled of a new and exclusive 'Rogue One' DLC pack. The 'Rogue One' level will be based on Scarif, a new planet which will feature in the upcoming Rogue One movie.

Take a look at the trailer down below:

In addition, EA published a statement to accompany the trailer and let fans know what they had in store:

"The fourth and final digital expansion pack gives you access to new content inspired by the upcoming film Rogue One™: A Star Wars™ Story, arriving in theaters on December 16.

In Rogue One: Scarif you'll battle across four new maps, including the sandy beaches of Scarif – an all-new tropical planet crawling with Imperials - which should look mighty familiar to anyone who saw the movie trailer. Know that incredible scene in the trailer where the AT-ACT is marching through the waves? That’s the one!

Joining the battle are two new playable heroes: Jyn Erso and Orson Krennic, as well as a new multi-stage game mode with space and ground combat. Take your first look at the artwork for the upcoming expansion pack above, and get ready for an epic Star Wars adventure on December 6 in anticipation of the new film."

EA are most certainly excited about the updated edition of Battlefront, but are you? Let us know in the comments below.

The 'Ultimate Edition' is now available for purchase on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
