Last month saw the release of Star Wars #1, the first of many new Comic books from Marvel. Countless copies of that issue have been sold, which was met with critical acclaim, and today the second issue in the ongoing series, Star Wars #2, has been released. StarWars.com has provided us with our first look at four pages from the comic, which features an opening crawl and Luke Skywalker facing off against Darth Vader. You can check them out below, and of course, SPOILERS for those who have not read Star Wars #1:
This series is set between Episode IV: A New Hope and Episode V: The Empire Strikes Back, so it's very interesting to see Vader and Luke interacting, and fighting, before their fateful meeting on Cloud City. With only two issues under it's belt, Marvel's Star Wars series has already proven to be a worthy continuation of the Saga in comic form. If you haven't already, go pick up both issues #1 and 2 at your local Comic book shop!
