Another Cryptic Tweet From J.J. Abrams

The last few months have been particularly quiet when it comes to news concerning Star Wars Episode VII. But the cast & crew behind the film have made up for the lull with various teases on social media. A few days ago actor John Boyega shared a photo on Instagram of Pinewood Studios' exterior with the caption, "New week! New planet!" And today, in response to Apple's announcement of their new Watch, J.J. Abrams' tweeted this on Bad Robot's Twitter account:

Now, at first glance this doesn't appear to be connected to Episode VII at all. But look closely at the background. Look familiar?

It seems this could be a subtle hint about what's to come in Episode VII. We've heard many rumors about the role the Empire may play in upcoming films, and we've even seen the new Stormtrooper helmet. It certainly looks like the Imperial designs will have a heavy influence on the Sequel trilogy, but hopefully we won't be seeing a third Death Star.

I think it's just a clever tweet about the Apple Watch... though I guess you could be right.

Just looks like vertical blinds reflecting on a glass top table or desk to me.

What am I missing here? It appears to just be a scene from ep4. I don't see anythin g about ep 7 or an apple watch.

Well, from what I understand is that the Death Star plans are not in the main computer. Sooooo. Yeah. Lol

I think the lights were also in cloud city when luke was fighting vader

Lando Calrissian had a nifty 'watch' in Empire. Maybe a referance to Bespin and the floor grates of Carbonite freezing chamber looks similar to the background.

I think JJ is trolling us to mislead us.

and those lights were in the cloud city carbonite freezing chamber and the air vents Luke fell through etc. etc. And the poster was talking about the background of JJ's tweet and used the Luke and Leia scene fron ep4 as a reference...fyi

Tells me JJ is an iSheep. The same exact smart watches have been around for at least a year , yet when Apple makes one people act like its the first one or the best one. Lol. The Apple I watch looks like it was made for a preschooler. Lol.
