Last year the beloved animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars ended with it's six season, which premiered on Netflix and continues to be available to stream on the site alongside the rest of the series. Since then only those in the U.S. and Canada have been able to enjoy The Clone Wars on Netflix, but now it seems that's about to change for fans "down under." Daily Mail is reporting that Netflix will be coming to Australia and New Zealand on March 31st, and alongside programs such as Lost & movies such as Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be available to stream in the two countries. Netflix's chief content officer told Daily Mail:
"As part of our long-standing global relationship with Disney, we're thrilled to bring fan favourites like Tangled and Star Wars: The Clone Wars to Netflix members in Australia and New Zealand."
Although this report does sound legitimate, there doesn't appear to have been any official announcements by Lucasfilm, Disney or Netflix just yet. We'll be on the lookout for that and provide updates on any confirmations.
