Our friends at Jedi News have received word that the upcoming animated series Star Wars Rebels will premiere in October of this year on Disney XD. This news comes from Johnamaria Macias who is in attendance at BookCon in New York and tweeted a photo of a Magazine page featuring details about the "Rebel Journal" book. But at the bottom of the page it states the series' premiere month. You can see the photo below:

Jedi News also speculates that we could get previews for the show at New York Comic Con, which happens early in October.
Although the above info does not say so, the first two episodes of Rebels are still expected to premiere on the Disney Channel first, and subsequent episodes will air on Disney XD. We look forward to getting an exact date for when we can expect to start watching this highly anticipated series!
