We're now just two months away from the release of the first ever live action Star Wars series, The Mandalorian, on Disney+ on November 12th.  As such, the finishing touches are now being put on the series' first season.  The Mandalorian's composer Ludwig Göransson shared a new picture from the latest scoring session for the series.  The image is a sketch of the titular Mandalorian (played in the series by Pedro Pascal) on a blank page of music sheet paper, done by executive producer and episodic director Dave Filoni.  Check it out below,

This is at least the second scoring session for The Mandalorian, with the first having taken place in July.  During that session, the series' showrunner Jon Favreau shared a similar Filoni sketch, only that time it was of droid bounty hunter IG-11 (voiced by Taika Waititi, who also directed the season one finale).

The score for the series was written by Academy Award winning composer Ludwig Göransson, who has previously written the music for the movies Black Panther, Creed, and Fruitvale Station, as well as for the TV series Community.

The Mandalorian is set following the events of Return of the Jedi and follows the adventures of a "lone gunfighter", as he navigates the galaxy in the post-Empire/early days of the New Republic.  The series debuts on Disney+ on November 12th.  If you haven't seen the new trailer, you can check it out below,

The series debuts on November 12th on Disney+, and stars Pedro Pascal as The Mandalorian, Gina Carrano as Cara Dune, Carl Weathers as Greef Carga, and Giancarlo Esposito as Moff Gideon, as well as Nick Nolte, Werner Herzog, Emily Swallow, and Omid Abtahi in unknown roles.  The Mandalorian is executive produced by Jon Favreau and Dave Filoni, with episodes directed by Filoni, Bryce Dallas Howard, Deborah Chow, and Rick Famuyiwa, and Taika Waititi.
