Big news for fans of Star Wars Legends and classic LucasArts video games! StarWars.com has announced that two huge Star Wars titles from the early 2000's will be making a return on more next gen consoles!

Starting later this month you will be able to once again take control of the beloved rogueish Jedi Kyle Katarn and other characters in not one, but two classic Star Wars games on a duo of new consoles. It has been revealed that Lucasfilm, with the help of developer Aspyr, will be bringing Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast, and its sequel, Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy to the Nintendo Switch, as well as PlayStation 4. New controller functions, including the Nintendo Switch's Gyro Aiming support for its Joy-Cons, will be integrated into these new versions of the game for an updated and fresh gameplay experience. Jedi Academy will feature online multiplayer battles in addition to storymode.

You can check out a short trailer for Jedi Outcast showing off some gameplay below:

StarWars.com also provided a handful of screengrabs from the new edition of Jedi Outcast. You can check out a few below, and the rest here:

Star Wars: Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast is slated to debut on the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 on September 24th. Star Wars: Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is expected to get the same treatment in early 2020.
