'Solo: A Star Wars Story' And 'Star Wars Resistance' Earn Saturn Award Nominations

If you thought awards season was over, you were wrong! The Academy of Science Fiction, Fantasy and Horror Films has unveiled the nominees for the 45th annual Saturn Awards, and two Star Wars productions got well deserved nods.


Both the most recent Star Wars feature film, Solo: A Star Wars Story, as well as the newest Star Wars animated series, Star Wars Resistance, received Saturn Award nominations. Solo was nominated in the "Best Science Fiction Film Release" category alongside such films as Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, Read Player One, and Bumblebee, among others. Resistance shares the "Best Animated Series on Television" category with the likes of Archer, Duck Tales, The Simpsons, & others. You can view the complete list of nominees by clicking here.
