Easily one of the biggest surprises to come out of Solo: A Star Wars Story was the shocking cameo by Darth Maul near the end of the film. The Zabrak Sith Lord was presumed dead over 20 years ago when he was cut in half by Obi-Wan Kenobi in Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace. His subsequent appearances in Star Wars: The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels confirmed otherwise, and Solo doubled down on Maul's extended life expectancy.
In response to this, Hot Toys has unveiled a brand new 1/6 scale figure based on Maul's appearance in Solo: A Star Wars Story. The figure is a meticulous recreation of the cyborg version of Maul, complete with his double bladed red Lightsaber with an LED light up function. The accessories that come with the figure include various detachable emoting hands, a seat, a display stand, and miniature holographic versions of Maul and Qi'ra. You can view more images of the figure below:
Additionally, preview night at San Diego Comic Con is happening right now and some photos from the Hot Toys booth have begun hitting the Internet. Along with the aforementioned Darth Maul figure, we get glimpses at figures for Padmé Amidala from Attack Of The Clones and Wicket the Ewok from Return Of The Jedi. We also get a glimpse at a 1/6 scale version of Anakin Skywalker's Jedi Starfighter from Revenge Of The Sith. You can check out those photos below, via Twitter:
