Mark Hamill, the beloved actor behind Luke Skywalker, continues to be a living legend, and that is no clearer than at San Diego Comic Con. Hamill attended the 50th annual SDCC this week and he was quite busy with an assortment of exciting things.

First off, during the panel for The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance, in which Mark Hamill stars, the actor was presented with the Comic-Con Icon award. The honor has been bestowed on an assortment of iconic figures over the years, including Marvel comics co-creator Stan Lee and The Maker himself, George Lucas. Upon receiving the award, Hamill had this to say:

“If it weren’t for you, I certainly wouldn’t be standing here. I started coming to these cons years before I met George [Lucas]. I remember I was at the con when they said 'did you hear there’s going to be 5000 people this year?' and we were like 'wow, how many women'?.. So thank you very much. I want you to remember I am your buddy until the end.”

Next up, Funko and Official Pix announced that Mark Hamill would be getting not one, but two Funko Pop! vinyl figures bearing his likeness! One is the classic Hamill look, while the other has Mark dressed in the iconic costume of The Joker, a character he has iconically voiced for many years. The figures will also be available for purchase signed by Hamill himself.

And lastly, but not least, Mark Hamill appeared on Conan to give host Conan O'Brien the "Comic-Con citizenship test" with hilarious results. Mark was also treated to a massive standing ovation, which is well deserved.
