On top of all the amazing Star Wars news we've been getting over the past few days, New York Comic Con is happening now in the Big Apple! And with the convention comes lots of awesome panels and an assortment of exciting news & info.

The Star Wars Publishing panel at New York Comic Con just wrapped up, featuring an assortment of writers and creators from Lucasfilm, Del Rey, and Marvel, including Amy Ratcliffe, Charles Soule, Chuck Wendig, and many others. Or very own Dominic Jones was in attendance and live-tweeted the panel, providing swift and detailed updates from the panel. Jody Houser on adapting Thrawn into a comic: Thrawn is such a literary character, so it was exciting to find ways to show that in comic form. #StarWars #NYCC

Jody Houser says writing Force-using characters like Qui-Gon and Maul in Age Of Republic was fun after working on stories like Rogue One and Thrawn. Also found it interesting to explore the character of Dooku. #StarWars #NYCC

Mur Lafferty on adapting #Solo: "It was terrifying" to write without having seen the film. Reveals that some of her added scenes hadnt been approved by her deadline, so it got extended past the film's opening so she was finally able to make a few tweaks after seeing it. #NYCC
