Pretty soon everyone's favorite galaxy won't be so far, far away thanks to Disneyland and Walt Disney World. The new Star Wars themed addition, Galaxy's Edge, is currently under construction at both theme parks and are expected to open to the public sometime next year.
In the meantime, Galaxy's Edge has been (literally) going up, and an assortment of spy photos have been giving us peaks at the development. The most recent batch of images, courtesy of NearMap, have shown that Galaxy's Edge is really beginning to resemble that amazing scale model of the area that was unveiled last year. And even more exciting, it appears the Millennium Falcon itself is now be constructed at the center of the 14-acre attraction. So, in other words, the legendary Falcon has finally touched down on Batuu!

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is expected to open its doors in 2019, with the Disneyland attraction in Anaheim, California opening first with the Walt Disney World version in Orlando, Florida opening soon after.
