The 2017 Golden Globe Awards took place last night at the Beverly Hilton in Hollywood and a plethora of celebrities made appearances, including a few Rogue One: A Star Wars Story stars. Diego Luna, Felicity Jones and Riz Ahmed, who had been nominated for for an award for his role in "The Night Of", were in attendance at the event. During the ceremony, Jones and Luna also took the stage to present the award for best screenplay.
While on the red carpet, MTV News' Josh Horowitz caught up with Diego Luna and talked some Star Wars with him. The Mexican actor actor expressed his gratitude to Star Wars fans for their continued support of Rogue One:
"This crazyiness has a meaning, it's to thank the fans. Because they really supported the film, they went to the cinemas, they've been watching the film three, four times. The love also you get through social media is so special."
Horowitz also inquired about the reports of bonus and alternate footage from Rogue One and if his character, Cassian Andor, survived in any iteration of the film:
"We shot for seven months, come on, we could edit another film. But this is the best Rogue One you could see, and this is the only one now."
