Earlier this year it was announced that ILMxLAB has been working on a Star Wars virtual reality experiment titled "Trails On Tatooine". No details where initially revealed about when and how fans would be able to participate in the program. but today Lucasfilm has announced the experience's first major outing. Attendees of Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 in London will be among the first to play Trails On Tatooine, which puts you in the role of a Jedi Padawan who is sent to the desert planet to rendezvous with the Millennium Falcon. ILMxLAB will be on the convention floor with a room-scale VR installation which will utilize the HTC Vive.

On the latest episode of The Star Wars Show, hosts Peter and Andi unveiled the news and also immersed themselves in the experience to give us a taste of what to expect at Celebration:

Some key creators behind the experience will also be participating in a special panel during the convention which will provide a deeper look into the creation of Trails On Tatooine.
