Production Images Of Upcoming Kylo Ren Black Series Figure Surface

By: Benjamin Hart

Star Wars collectors have a lot to look forward to over the next few weeks! Recently Hasbro unveiled, among other products, a brand new 6-inch Black Series Kylo Ren figure that is helmetless and includes a melted Darth Vader helmet and a First Order banner. The figure will be available at Star Wars Celebration Europe later this week, San Diego Comic Con next week, and at Fan Expo Canada in September.

Yesterday, Hasbro shared previously unseen production photos of the figure on a new Instagram account titled Hasbro Pulse. In addition to some photos showing the figures at different stages of production, we also get a glimpse at the box art. You can check them all out below:

Opinion: Top Five 'Must See' Panels At Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016

By Ciaran Duggan,

In less than a week's time Star Wars: Celebration Europe 2016 will have commenced. By this time next week, many of the attendees will have queued up in an overnight line for the Celebration Stage panels, drinking large amounts of coffee in an attempt to continue to function properly during the day, before receiving the ultimate 'kick' of watching a new Star Wars film trailer. And all this would have taken place on just the first day. Phew! In light of Celebration commencing this week, I have compiled a personalized list of  the top five 'must see' panels at this year's Celebration. I must emphasize that this is my chosen list and not an 'official' list which has been produced by Lucasfilm or Disney.

5) EA Games (Saturday 16 July, 19:00 - 20:00 GMT)

At number five on my 'top five' list, I have chosen the EA Gaming panel, which will take place on the Saturday. Lucasfilm has made it explicitly clear, posting a whole article on the website about the fact, that there will be a large gaming presence at Celebration this year. Of course, some people have been sceptical that we won't actually learn anything ground-breaking or 'new' about EA Star Wars because the E3 gaming conference (which took place just two weeks ago) is dubbed as the most popular forum for revealing gaming exclusives to a mainstream audience. I understand this fact, however, I am of the mind that there will be some interesting and new insights into EA Star Wars at this panel.

The timing is significant in itself. The panel starts at 19:00 GMT (the latest of all the panels at this year''s celebration), which means that if there is any new exclusives it will reach a mainstream audience back in America at a respectable time of the day. Moreover, I feel that the announcements we received at E3 were very much "all talk, but no substance", so perhaps EA and Lucasfilm were saving themselves for Celebration, as they can talk more about EA Star Wars gaming to the right audience. Hopefully, this panel will shine light on some of the more ambiguous future projects, such as the Respawn game, which Lucasfilm has on the go.

4) Ahsoka's Untold Tales (Friday 15 July, 11:00 - 12:00 GMT)

On a day that Dave Filoni has dubbed "Ahsoka lives day", I feel there's plenty to be excited about with regards to the 'Ahsoka Untold Tales' panel. This panel promises to cater to fans of Ahsoka, as guests will concentrate on exploring the 'untold tales' of Ahsoka's past and future, including her discovery by the Jedi Order and other storylines which would have been explored in future, yet sadly, unproduced episodes of The Clone Wars. Die-hard Clone Wars fans will not want to miss this panel, particularly when we learn of the guests attending.

- Rebels & Clone Wars Executive Producer: Dave Filoni
- Lucasfilm Story Group Member: Pablo Hidalgo
- Actress and Voice of Ahsoka: Ashley Eckstein

Following this panel at 12:30pm, the Star Wars Show will be recording an 'exclusive' episode at Celebration. Their newest installment will centre on Ahsoka Tano, as the regular hosts will be joined by Ashley Eckstein on the Star Wars Show stage. This shows that Ahsoka's presence at Celebration will be pervasive and far-reaching on the Friday and I am sure many Clone Wars fans will not want to miss out on any of this.

3) Star Wars Rebels: Season Three (Saturday 16 June, 16:00 - 18:00 GMT)

As we hit #3 on the 'top five' list I guess it's appropriate that I have chosen Season '3' of Star Wars: Rebels. In a way, it feels like a Rebels panel has been an ongoing tradition at Celebration. Rebels seems to get its due at Celebration, as the show's panel takes centre stage on one of the days at Celebration, usually the Saturday, and this one is no different.

There are a couple of reasons why fans should be excited about this panel. The Rebels team will be previewing the upcoming season of Star Wars: Rebels, a season which we have heard close to nothing about. This means the panel will provide shocks and surprises, with Dave Filoni disclosing exclusive information about the new season. That brings me onto my second point, which is the star-studded guests who will be attending.

- Rebels Executive Producer: Dave Filoni
- Voice of Darth Maul and Emperor Palpatine: Sam Witwer
- Voice of Sabine: Tiya Sircar

Finally, the panel will conclude with a screening of the first two episodes of the new season of Rebels. Celebration attendees will be rewarded with the chance to exclusively watch the first two episodes way ahead of TV viewers inside and outside of the United Kingdom. The last time episodes were aired at Star Wars: Celebration, Darth Vader ended up being the centre piece in an epic 'Siege from Lothal' 40 minute special. Expect big things, if the tone of the new episodes match the tone of the Season Two premiere.

2) Future Filmmakers and Closing Ceremony (Sunday 17 June, 15:00 - 16:30 GMT)

Now we hit #2 on this list. The closing panel is usually a fascinating one because we learn about the new destination for Star Wars: Celebration. Well, we already know the next destination of Star Wars: Celebration, courtesy of Lucasfilm on May the 4th. The next destination will be Orlando and the next celebration will take place in April 2017. Consequently, it may seem that this panel will be a bit of an underwhelming way to end the convention. However, I disagree. Just before the 'Closing Ceremony', we have the compelling 'Future Filmmakers' panel.

The Future Filmmakers panel will feature appearances from Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy, Episode VIII Director Rian Johnson and the creative minds of the untitled Han Solo movie, Chris Miller and Phil Lord. The panel will be hosted by Pablo Hidalgo (Lucasfilm Story Group Member). The panel itself is only one of only two panels which will be live streamed, which speaks to the fact that this is an important panel and Lucasfilm want to get as many people and media outlets as possible to sit and watch it, both home, abroad in America and beyond. The description of the panel has also stated that there will be some 'surprises' in store for fans.

I believe there will be some fresh insights about both 'Episode VIII' and 'Han Solo' which will be disclosed at this panel. Will there be an announcement of an Episode VIII title? Some new images? An appearance of Alden Ehrenreich? It remains to be seen, as I am in the dark about this as much as every other fan is. Either way, whilst these projects are set for release far into the future, I feel this panel has a lot of potential to reveal some exciting details about the upcoming movies, which is why it is ranked at #2.

1) Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (Friday 15 June, 16:00 - 17:00 GMT)

The must see event of Celebration however has to be the Rogue One panel on Friday, featuring appearances from Kathleen Kennedy and Gareth Edwards (Director of Rogue One). I imagine that this will be the panel that people will queue all night for and talking about long after Celebration concludes. So, what can we expect from this panel?

- Concept Art: I anticipate we'll see some early concept art which was created for the film, as we delve into some of the behind the scenes of the upcoming movie
- Cast: Expect Edwards and Kennedy to describe the role of each cast member, giving them a full bio and maybe even introducing one or two of the cast members onto the main stage
- Trailer: It has already been alluded to by many mainstream outlets, most notably ABC, that a new Rogue One trailer is set for release at this panel. The trailer is reported to last for as long as 3 minutes, with tons of new footage expected.

I also believe that we will get our first glimpse of live-action Darth Vader in the film because of EW's recent announcement that he will be in the Rogue One film. It would make complete sense for the marketing team at Lucasfilm to want to push for a 'Vader' tease. I predict this will occur  as the final shot, comparable to the Han "We're Home" moment at the end of the second teaser trailer for Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

That brings a conclusion to my opinion piece. What panels are you most looking forward to watching at Star Wars: Celebration? Do you agree with my list or have I missed something crucial? Let us know in the comments below.

Star Wars Celebration Europe Wristband Info Revealed

By: Benjamin Hart

With Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 happening in London in just over a week, news and information regarding the convention has been pouring out recently. Of course one of the major things drawing fans to Celebration are all the amazing panels happening through the course of the event, such as the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel on Friday and the Future Filmmakers panel on Sunday. Today it was announced that wristbands will be required to attend each individual panel on the Celebration stage. Starting at 8:00pm on the previous day, attendees may queue to get a wristband for the corresponding panel. The wristbands will be handed out at 6:00am the day of the panel. A second wristband can be acquired for another panel after that point while supplies last, but wristbands are limited to two per person each day.

Panels on all other stages, such as the Behind-The-Scenes Stage, Galaxy Stage, Fan/Collectors’ Stage and One Force Stage, will not require wristbands for admittance and will be filled based on a first-come, first-served basis. If you will be participating in the wristbanding process be sure to check out the full details on that and much more here!

It should be noted that this wristband process has been utilized previously at New York Comic Con and worked efficiently. Hopefully it was will be just as effective at Star Wars Celebration.

Star Wars Celebration Europe kicks off at the Excel Exhibition center next Friday, July 15th and runs through Sunday, July 17th.

New 'Rogue One' Trailer To Air July 15th On ABC

By: Benjamin Hart

For those anxiously awaiting the next trailer for Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, it has been confirmed that we are mere days away from seeing it! Our friends at Making Star Wars have alerted us to the news that a number of TV schedules have added listings for a broadcast of the documentary Secrets Of The Force Awakens: A Cinematic Journey on ABC at 8:00pm ET on Friday, July 15th. While the  television debut of Episode VII's behind the scenes documentary is big news itself, it's the fine print that's really exciting.

The description on certain listings reveals that a three-minute long trailer for Rogue One will also be accompanying the documentary. Whether the trailer will air before, during or after the main presentation is unclear.

The most interesting thing about this is the fact that this trailer will be airing just hours after the Rogue One: A Star Wars Story panel takes place at Star Wars Celebration in London. Everyone has been expecting a trailer to premiere at the panel, which is happening at 4:00pm GMT(11:00am ET). It seems to me that the trailer will be officially unveiled at Celebration and will be presented to TV audiences later in the day on ABC. While it's possible the trailer could be exclusively shown at Celebration and held back from the rest of the world until it airs on ABC, that seems unlikely. Lucasfilm has been notorious for releasing their trailers online as soon as they're shown at live events. Nevertheless, the main point here is the confirmation that we are indeed getting a new trailer on the 15th, and it's three minutes long. That is incredibly exciting.

The Star Wars Underworld team will be on the ground in London next week to report back on all the big news that's revealed, so keep it here for the latest updates!

By Ciaran Duggan,

Clone Wars fans prepare to get excited for a special 'Ahsoka' panel which is to be held at Star Wars: Celebration Europe 2016. Lucasfilm have named this panel 'Ahsoka's Untold Tales'. According to the description of the panel, the focus will be on looking at untold anecdotes of Ahsoka's past, from Plo Koon's discovery of Ahsoka to the stories which were to be told in unproduced episodes of the Clone Wars.

The panel is scheduled to take place on Friday July 15, 2016, between 11:00 AM and 12:00 PM (GMT). This means that this will be the first panel of the day and what a way to get people hyped for the rest of the day's events at Star Wars: Celebration.

The panel contributors will consist of Dave Filoni (Supervising Director of Star Wars: The Clone Wars & Star Wars: Rebels), actress Ashley Eckstein (the voice of Ahsoka Tano in The Clone Wars & Rebels) and Pablo Hidalgo (member of Lucasfilm Story Group).

Prototype Boba Fett Hot Wheels Car To Be Celebration Europe Exclusive

By: Benjamin Hart

With Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 right around the corner we're finally getting our first look at some of the exclusive collectibles that will be available at the convention. Our friends at Jedi News received word from Mattel that a brand new prototype armor Boba Fett Hot Wheels car will be among the items for sale exclusively at this Celebration.

The design is based on an early concept for Boba Fett(seen in this video) that had the infamous bounty hunter appear in an all-white version of his iconic armor. The toy itself includes twin turbo engines that mimic Boba's jet pack, a range finder and several weapons extending from the hood. Senior Hot Wheels designer Bryan Benedict spoke briefly about translating Fett into car form:

“I am a huge fan of Star Wars, so to get the opportunity to recreate classic characters as part of my job is a huge honour. I am excited to be amongst the fans and to unveil our exclusive Boba Fett car that I designed as a rat rod, because to me Boba Fett is basically a walking rat rod - with his banged up helmet and cool attitude.  But this is a rat rod with super-advanced technology, and, in the case of our Celebration exclusive, he’s been given a pristine white paint scheme to match the prototype armour.”

The cars will be available at booth #S502 on the Celebration floor, and Bryan Benedict will be there Saturday morning for a car signing. In addition, those who attended the Hot Wheels panel on the Behind-The-Scenes stage on Saturday(4:30 PM - 5:30 PM) will get a first look at the upcoming line of Star Wars Hot Wheels cars and will be able to give their two cents on what the next Celebration exclusive will be.

The main events will include a disclosure of details on Star Wars: Rebels Season 3, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Behind the Scenes of 'The Force Awakens' and panels with special guests, including Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Anthony Daniels. I have put synopsis for the main events down below. You can read further details on the Star Wars Celebration website. Take a look at the full schedule down below :

20:30 - 23:00: Screening: Star Wars: A New Hope

On Friday night, relive the adrenaline of seeing Star Wars: A New Hope in a theatrical theatre, on the big screen.

Saturday, July 16:

Creative Supervisor Neal Scanlan and his  creative design team will talk about the process of creating the wonderful aliens, droids and creatures (such as Maz Kanata, BB-8 and Supreme Leader Snoke) that made it into Star Wars: The Force Awakens. The panel will end with a live demo of one of the creature shop's amazing Star Wars characters.

14:00 - 15:00: Anthony Daniels, Without Protocol

Anthony Daniels, the human behind C-3PO, will take to the stage and talk about his time with Star Wars.

16:00 - 18:00: Star Wars Rebels Season 3

In a roundtable discussion, the creative leaders of Star Wars Battlefront, Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes and Star Wars: The Old Republic and other future Star Wars video game projects from EA will disclose their behind-the-scenes stories of the future of Star Wars gaming at EA.

21:00 - 23:30: Screening: Star Wars: The Force Awakens

It seems like only yesterday that you watched this movie at cinemas. Well now, you can relive the film on the big screen, as you watch the theatrical version of Star Wars: The Force Awakens on the Celebration Stage.

Sunday, July 17:

11:00 - 12:00: Carrie Fisher: The Princess Diaries

Join Carrie Fisher, who portrays our favorite Princess from a Galaxy Far Far Away, as she provides an hour of on and off the screen insights into one of our most beloved Star Wars characters.

13:00 - 14:00: Ray Park Unleashed (Darth Maul)

Ray Park - the actor who portrayed the Sith Warrior in the Phantom Menace, Darth Maul - will take to the stage and interact with Celebration Host, and alleged Sith Apprentice, Warwick Davis.

It seems like Lucasfilm have situated their big panels on Friday and Saturday late afternoon, with the Rogue One panel at 16:00 on Friday and the Star Wars: Rebels panel at 16:00 on Saturday. Will we see a new trailer for these two projects? I would hazard a guess that this is a very likely possibility. All in all, Saturday seems to be the day you won't want to miss. There is a heavy Force Awakens and gaming presence throughout the day on Saturday, including a screening of the Force Awakens movie.

Let us know what you're looking forward to most, in the comment section down below.

The guest list for Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 is continuing to grow! Today, StarWars.com
announced that none other than Star Wars Rebels executive producer Dave Filoni will be in attendance, and he won't be alone. He will be joined by "special guests" who will be on hand to present a screening of the first two episodes of season three. As always, Filoni will no doubt be making the rounds at this Celebration to discuss Rebels and his previous work on Star Wars: The Clone Wars at various panels and events.

Earlier this year Filoni also teased a major Rebels reveal at Celebration Europe that fans have been waiting for. What he could be announcing is anyone's guess, but it's certainly exciting!

UPDATE: Filoni teased an announcement he would be making at Celebration on social media following the announcement.  Filoni posted the following picture with Ahsoka Tano's line from "Twilight of the Apprentice", the Season Two finale of Star Wars Rebels "There's always a bit of truth in legends".  For those wondering, the book in question is Timothy Zahn's Heir to the Empire (makes you wonder if he'll be confirming a certain rumor....)

By: Benjamin Hart

Last year at Star Wars Celebration Anaheim Lucasfilm introduced a brand new venue to the convention: the Podcast stage. Over the course of the event it featured an assortment of different Podcast(ours included) broadcasting live on stage during set time intervals. Now, with Star Wars Celebration Europe coming up in July, it appears Lucasfilm is bringing it back! Earlier today Mark Newbold from Jedi News revealed the Podcast lineup for the duration of Celebration on StarWars.com. This collection of pre-selected fan produced shows will be appearing on the One Force Stage and will be sharing space "Four Clubs, One Force", which consists of Jedi News, the UK Garrison of the 501st Legion, the Elstree Base of the Rebel Legion, and the Galactic Academy.

Mark Newbold had this to say about this year's Podcast stage:

"At the request of the wonderful Mary Franklin at ReedPOP and our fellow groups in One Force, I had the great pleasure of organizing the schedule and choosing the podcasts for the show. My intention from the beginning was to bring as many of the best podcasts to Celebration. Given that we were sharing the stage with the UKG and Rebel Legion, who have their own selection of presentations running through the weekend, I was keen to fit in as many podcasts as possible into a limited number of slots (15 different shows from numerous networks sharing eight 45-minute slots) and to provide some unique content for the event. As you’ll see, we have an eclectic array of content covering collecting, interviews, literature, comedy and shows with a UK, US and Australian focus."

'Star Wars' Video Games Will Be Coming To Celebration Europe 2016

By Ciaran Duggan,

Today Lucasfilm have confirmed that Star Wars gaming will have a major presence at Star Wars Celebration Europe 2016 in London this summer.

Here are the list of gaming organisations that will be visiting Celebration in London:
- Star Wars Battlefront
- LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens
- Star Wars Commander
- Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes
- Star Wars: The Old Republic
- Star Wars: Force Collection.

More details are set to be released with regards to the content and footage which will be released by these gaming companies. It would be fair to predict that there will be a gaming panel in London, based on the large presence of these organisations at Celebration.

Lucasfilm have stated this marks "the highest volume of gaming content" which has ever graced Celebration.

It seems like there is enough gaming content to increase both gamers and Star Wars fans alike.
