'Star Wars Resistance' Producers Discuss The Season One Finale, Tease Season Two

The season one finale of the animated series Star Wars Resistance aired last night, bringing to a close an exciting run of twenty-two episodes.  The finale had many surprises that upset the status quo and set the stage for an exciting second season (likely debuting this Fall on Disney Channel).  The series' executive producers Just Ridge, Athena Portillo, and Brandon Auman sat down recently with Entertainment Weekly's Anthony Breznican, where they discussed what went down in the finale and let slip a few teases about season two.

Star Wars Resistance's Story Will Run Parallel With The Sequel Trilogy

The first season of the newest Star Wars animated series Star Wars Resistance is now in full swing, and so far has managed to garner much intrigue from kids and adults alike. The series is set prior to the events of Star Wars: The Force Awakens in a time when the First Order is still working in the shadows, and the fledgling Resistance is doing their best to stay ahead of their shadowy foes.

New Video Introducing "The Aces" of 'Star Wars Resistance' Released

Lucasfilm has released a new video on USA Today's website introducing fans to some of the new characters we'll be going on adventures with on the animated series Star Wars Resistance, which debuts this Fall on Disney XD.  The video presents a group of pilots known collectively as "The Aces", who are the top pilots on The Colossus.  They were hired to defend The Colossus, but in their down time they stage ship races among themselves.  "The Aces" are made up of Torra Doza (Myrna Velasco), Hype Fazon (Donald Faison), Griff Halloran (Stephen Stanton), Freya Fenris (Mary Elizabeth McGlynn), and Bo Keevil (whose voice actor was not revealed).  Check out the video for yourself below,

Team Fireball From 'Star Wars Resistance' Introduced In New Video

Lucasfilm and Entertainment Weekly released a new video today introducing many of the main characters on Star Wars Resistance, known collectively as Team Fireball.  The video features interviews with series stars Christopher Sean (Kazuda Xiono), Scott Lawrence (Jarek Yeager), Suzie McGrath (Tam Ryvora), and Josh Brenner (Neeku), as well as several key members of the crew including series creator Dave Filoni, Executive Producer Athena Portillo, Supervising Director Justin Ridge, and Head Writer Brandon Auman.  Check it out below,
