Another Short 'The Force Awakens' Teaser Clip Revealed

Lucasfilm has released another short teaser clip from Star Wars: Episode VII The Force Awakens to promote the premiere of the new trailer tomorrow during Monday Night Football on ESPN. The clip features a meeting between Poe and Finn at the Resistance base. Check it out for yourself below,

Lucasfilm has released two other short teasers for the film, one featuring new shots of Rey, Finn, and Poe, the other revealing what Rey was looking up at in the Instagram teaser. The official poster for the film was also revealed earlier today.

"The Resistance". I keep seeing that term. Am I supposed to be intrigued or confused. Last time I remember checking in on that Galaxy, the Empire had fallen.

The Emperor fell at the Battle of Endor along with a small portion of the Empire's forces but after 20 years in power the Empire was vast and it splintered across the galaxy. Moff's and Grand Admirals (or whatever they are called) grabbed power where they could and the Empire became a series of "resistance cells" hence why "The Resistance" is being used. The New Republic is being resisted by the leftovers of the Empire, even 30 years after the Battle of Endor.

The emporer and vader where taken out. Not the entire empire. Think USA when JFK was assasinated, did the US military suddenly collapse into nothing? and thats just a country not an entire galaxy.

The Resistance is a separate entity from the New Republic formed by Leia to combat the growing corruption of the Senate as well as the threat of the First Order.

The Resistance is a movement opposed to the so calles Peace Treaty between the New Republic and the Fading Empire. Princess Leia thought the treaty was bullI am madly in love with Jar Jar Binks... dont tell anyone but I have an engagement ring in my dresser basically, and decided to keep ready just in case the Empire where to attack. At this point the New Republic Senate has grown corrupt once more. I hope this answers your question.
