While all eyes are on the immediate future and the release of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, British GQ asked Rey actress Daisy Ridley to break down one of the most iconic scenes from the most recent installment in the Skywalker saga. In a new video, Ridley watches the throne roome sequence from The Last Jedi on a laptop, pausing every few seconds to share stories from the set and praise her colleagues (especially Adam Driver, Andy Serkis, and the stunt crew).
You can watch the video of Ridley breaking down the throne room scene below,
Ridley also did a sit down interview with British GQ, where she spoke about finishing her trilogy of Star Wars films. In it she recalled her final day on set, saying, "the scene was me being very sa. “Let’s just say it was not hard to be upset in that scene." She added that after she wrapped, she had a chance to talk to the crew. "I did this embarrassing speech that I can’t remember. It was so sad."
She also spoke about the reactions to Star Wars films and how it's impossible to please everybody, saying, "I think people are going to feel like this was made with a lot of love and JJ worked really hard to tie up nine films. It’s impossible to make everyone happy."
