Dolby Cinema Exclusive 'The Rise of Skywalker' Poster Unveiled

It's been a big day for the promotion of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker, with a new preview and an EW cover story already having been revealed.  In addition, we now have a new poster also being unveiled today.  The poster is the Dolby Cinema exclusive poster, and features a solitary X-Wing going up against a fleet of Star Destroyers.  The poster was revealed on the official Star Wars social media accounts.  Check it out below,

Interestingly, the star destroyer in the preview appears to be an old Imperial design seen in the original trilogy, and not the news First Order design seen in the previous two films in the sequel trilogy.  This is not the first time we've seen the old Imperial star destroyer design in the promotion for the film.  In the D23 preview, we also saw a fleet of old star destroyers.  There is at least one main difference between the original trilogy design and the The Rise of Skywalker design, which is the red stripes around the edges.

The X-Wing in the poster also appears to be the Orange X-Wing seen in some of the other previews.  The Hasbro Vintage Collection toy of the orange X-Wing is called "Poe Dameron's X-Wing Fighter", so it seems safe to assume who is in the fighter.

If you haven't seen the final for Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker yet (or want to watch it again), you can do so below,
