One of the biggest Star Wars events to happen so far this year was the opening Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge both at Disneyland in California and Walt Disney World in Florida. Both attractions include an assortment of amazing features, including Millennium Falcon: Smuggler's Run, a ride that puts you in the pilot's seat of the iconic YT-1300 freighter. But that's not all!

Another ride at Galaxy's Edge is still under construction, and is slated to open on December 5th in Orlando and January 17th in Anaheim. The ride is called "Star Wars: Rise Of The Resistance" and promises to put riders right in the middle of an intense battle between the sinister First Order and the heroic Resistance. Earlier this week Good Morning America took their viewers inside Rise Of The Resistance for the first time, showing off the massive life-size Star Destroyer hanger that features prominently in the ride. You can check the footage of their visit below:

Rise Of The Resistance has been described as having unparalleled immersion and realism. After being "recruited" to the Resistance, riders will be caught up in an exciting adventure that includes being captured by the First Order and making a daring escape. Along the way you'll come face to face with an assortment of heroes and villains, including Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, and Kylo Ren, who will be brought to life in the ride by their original actors; Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Oscar Isaac and Adam Driver, respectively.

While we have a bit of a wait to enjoy Rise Of The Resistance, it certainly looks as if it will be worth our patience. In the meantime, both Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge parks are open now for all to enjoy!
