The awards news just keeps coming! After receiving word that Solo: A Star Wars Story and Star Wars Resistance had picked up nominations from the 45th annual Saturn Awards, it has now been announced that Star Wars has acquired two more award nominations, this time from the Emmys!
First off, it was announced that Star Wars Resistance had been nominated for an Emmy in the category of "Outstanding Children's Program". Resistance shares the nomination with other series such as A Series Of Unfortunate Events, Carmen Sandiego, Song Of Parkland, and When You Wish Upon A Pickle: A Sesame Street Special.

And in addition, it was also revealed that the Television Academy had selected the newly released virtual reality series Vader Immortal as a finalist for the 2019 "Outstanding Innovation in Interactive Media" Emmy award.

The Emmy Awards ceremony will take place on September 22nd at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, California.
