We are now just a little over a month from Star Wars Celebration Chicago kicking off! To help build excitement Lucasfilm has made a habit of giving us news about the convention consistently over the past several weeks. Today the newest episode of The Star Wars Show dropped on YouTube, and with it came some exhilarating announcements about Celebration Chicago!
First off, we have three more celebrity guest announcements! Paul Bettany, who played the scarred crime lord Dryden Vos in Solo: A Star Wars Story, will be appearing at Star Wars Celebration for the first time ever. Another Celebration first-timer, Hermione Corfield, the actress behind A-Wing pilot Tallissan "Tallie" Lintra in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, is also slated to appear in Chicago. And lastly, but certainly not least, Riz Ahmed, who portrayed Imperial Cargo pilot turned Rebel hero Bodhi Rook in Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, will also be joining the already incredible guest list.

In addition, the Celebration schedule was filled in just a bit more with the announcement of three panels focused solely on Star Wars animation. The first will be a Rebels Remembered panel happening on Saturday, April 13th. The panel will look back on the now concluded series Star Wars Rebels and will feature series co-creator and executive producer Dave Filoni along with stars Taylor Gray (Ezra Bridger), Tiya Sircar (Sabine Wren), and Vanessa Marshall (Hera Syndulla) as panelists.
The second panel, taking place on Sunday, April 14th, will be all about the return of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. After the exciting and unexpected reveal at last year's San Diego Comic Con that the series was being revived on Disney+, fans have been clamoring for new information about the upcoming seventh season. The panel will see Dave Filoni on stage with other special guest and to reveal an "exclusive sneak peek" of future episodes.
And finally, fans of the newest Star Wars animated production, Star Wars Resistance, will be delighted to hear that on Monday, April 15th, a panel for Resistance will be happening. The panel will be attended by executive producers Justin Ridge, Athena Portillo, Brandon Auman, along with members of the cast, including Christopher Sean (Kazuda Xiono), Scott Lawrence (Jarek Yeager), Suzie McGrath (Tam Ryvora), Myrna Velasco (Torra Doza), and Donald Faison (Hype Fazon).
