New York Toy Fair is taking place this weekend, and several Star Wars licensees have debuted several new products we can expect to see on shelves in the coming months. Lego always has a major presence at the event, and this year was no exception. This year they revealed the packaging for their upcoming 20th anniversary collection, a couple of Star Wars Resistance sets, as well as a few other surprises.  You can see some of the reveals below,

You can see pictures of the packaging for the 75258 – Anakin’s Podracer 20th Anniversary Edition, as well as the newly revealed sets 75240 – Major Vonreg’s TIE Fighter, 75242 – Black Ace TIE Interceptor, 75241 Action Battle Echo Base, and 75236 Duel on Starkiller Base.  The sets (as well as the other 20th anniversary sets) are all slated to begin hitting shelves on April 1st (no joke!).

It's very exciting to see Lego begin making Star Wars Resistance sets, though I'm somewhat surprised to see that The Fireball was not among the first ships made.  The packaging for Lego's 20th anniversary collection also looks very cool.  The "Action Battle" sets are an interesting idea, especially as means to put a new spin on Star Wars moments that have already been made into sets several times (like the Battle of Hoth).  It will be interesting to see if this idea catches on and we see "Action Battle" sets in the future, and what other Star Wars moments might get that treatment.
