Jon Favreau Officially Reveals 'The Mandalorian', The Live-Action 'Star Wars' TV Series

Huge news just dropped about the long awaiting Star Wars live-action television series! After our friends at Making Star Wars got some sneak peeks at the set, as well as some casting rumors, Jon Favreau, the writer and executive producer of the series, has revealed the full title and a brief synopsis!


On Instagram, Favreau shared a photo which confirms the series will be titled "The Mandalorian". The synopsis makes mention of Jango and Boba and teases the reveal of "another warrior" who will be at the center of this series, which takes place approximately a few years after the events of Return Of The Jedi. Star Wars: The Mandalorian is expected to premiere on Disney's upcoming streaming service, which will be launching sometime next year.
