Lucasfilm Releases "Scoring The Last Jedi: a 360 VR Experience" on YouTube

Lucasfilm has released a new behind the scenes featurette about the making of Star Wars: The Last Jedi on the official Star Wars YouTube channel.  The featurette focuses on the creation of the musical score for the film and features interviews with composer John Williams and writer/director Rian Johnson.  What sets this featurette apart from the rest is that it is a 360 VR experience, giving fans a unique look around the recording studio during the scoring sessions and the films sets during production.  The experience can be seen using your computer, your phone, or a VR headset that you load your phone into.  You can check it out for yourself below,

Hopefully this is the sort of behind the scenes experiences that Lucasfilm continues to innovate with as they continue to release more movies.  As interesting as it was to see Williams at work with the Orchestra, the best moments (in my opinion) were the times when you get to look around some of the amazing sets that were built.  It really gives you an appreciation for what it's like to be there.
