Even if The Last Jedi doesn't win in any of the categories for which it is nominated at the 90th annual Academy Awards next month, Star Wars will still be represented on stage. The Academy announced the presenters for this year's Oscars and The Last Jedi stars Mark Hamill, Oscar Isaac, and Kelly Marie Tran are among those who will be announcing the winners. Also announced as presenter was Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, who also co-wrote the song "Jabba Flow" with JJ Abrams for The Force Awakens.
Hamill reacted to the announcement by posting the following on Twitter,
Note to self: 1) Talk fast enough so the orchestra doesn't try to play me off.— Mark Hamill (@HamillHimself) February 21, 2018
2) No "R2-Me Too" jokes.
3) After opening the envelope, don't say "La La Land"#Oscars2018
