Fans of Star Wars Rebels will have a big reason to read the Star Wars: Doctor Aphra comic book series from Marvel Comics (if they're not already doing so) in March 2018.  Marvel released their solicitations for March 2018 this week, including the cover and description for Doctor Aphra #18 (which hits shelves in March) which revealed that Star Wars Rebels character Hera Syndulla will be appearing in the series.

Hera (who is voiced by Vanessa Marshall on the show) is one of the principle characters on Star Wars Rebels and a key figure in the Rebel Alliance during that time period.  She is also one of the few characters from Rebels whose fate is known past the ending of the series (the series finale will air in 2018).  She was mentioned and her ship, The Ghost, can be seen during Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and she made an appearance in the animated micro-series Star Wars: Forces of Destiny, both of which are set following the events of Rebels

The description for Doctor Aphra #18 can be read below,

"Doctor Aphra is being blackmailed by Triple-Zero to run missions for his underground crime syndicate — but that doesn’t mean she can’t cause trouble and have fun along the way! Sometimes that fun means infiltrating Rebellion training grounds…and sometimes that trouble means crossing paths with famed rebel Hera Syndulla herself!"

Other Star Wars comics being released in March 2018 include Poe Dameron #25, Star Wars: Thrawn #2, Star Wars #44, Star Wars #45, and Darth Vader #13Doctor Aphra #18 is written by Kieron Gillen and Simon Spurrier with art by Emilio Laiso.
