It seems that we've gotten to a place where whenever something big happens in Star Wars, the people who aren't happy about it create an online petition to undo it. Whether this is to bring back the old Expanded Universe (Legends), fire JJ Abrams from Episode IX, or strike The Last Jedi from the canon of Star Wars, there is always a petition. Instead of linking to these petitions (for two reasons; one, they're ineffective, and two, they're ridiculous and make fans look bad), we're going to link to this video of comedian Steele Saunders of the Steele Wars Podcast roasting one these petitions. Check out the clip below,
Obviously, all fans are entitled to their opinions, and they shouldn't hesitate from sharing those opinions in a passionate, and respectful way. But can we all agree that these petitions are pointless? There's no way Lucasfilm and Disney will see them as anything other than what they are: a joke (assuming they even see them at all).
