One of the new characters we will be meeting when Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters this December is Resistance Vice Admiral Amilyn Holdo, played by Emmy winning actress Laura Dern. Dern appeared on The Ellen Show this week and she spoke briefly about her role in the new film, telling the story of how she made "pew pew" noises on set while shooting her blaster. In addition, a new still image of Dern as Holdo was revealed on the show. You can watch the clip below,
Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters on December 15th. The
film is written and directed by Rian Johnson and stars Daisy Ridley as
Rey, Mark Hamill as Luke Skywalker, John Boyega as Finn, Adam Driver as
Kylo Ren, Carrie Fisher as Leia Organa, Kelly Marie Tran as Rose Tico,
Laura Dern as Amilyn Holdo, Benicio Del Toro as DJ, and Lupita Nyong'o
as Maz Kanata.
