Everyone's getting pumped for the upcoming release of Star Wars Battlefront II, and one of the most exciting aspects of the game is a much broader range of content. While the first game focused largely on the Original Trilogy with only ground battles, the new game will include space combat in all eras of the Star Wars saga. Today, EA released a brand new gameplay trailer for Battlefront II, this time showing off that stunning starfighter gameplay they've been teasing.
In the trailer we see a variety of characters, ships, and locations in several different eras. It begins in the Sequel era following Poe Dameron and a squadron of Resistance X-Wings battling the First Order. Later we see an Original Trilogy themed battle between the Rebels and the Empire in the midst of debris of the Second Death Star over Endor. It finishes with some amazing Prequel era gameplay, showing action over Ryloth and Kamino with Venator-class Star Destroyers, ARC-170 Starfighters, a Jedi Starfighter flown by Yoda, and the Sith Infiltrator piloted by Darth Maul. Star Wars Battlefront II is set for release on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on November 17th! A special Starfighter gameplay live stream is also set to take place this Monday at Gamsescom.
