There were plenty of updates on Star Wars: The Last Jedi at D23 Expo this year, including more set photos, special guest star appearances and a behind-the-scenes reel.
Rian Johnson, the director of Episode VIII, was on stage alongside newly inducted Disney Legend Mark Hamill, Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Gwendoline Christie and Kelly Marie Tran.
Benicio Del Toro and Laura Dern also made a guest appearance, which was their first appearance at a Disney/Star Wars convention since they had been cast for The Last Jedi.
Del Toro said: "I saw the original Star Wars when I was 10, so when you called me up I said 'let's go'."
A behind-the-scenes reel was shown at the Disney Live Action film panel, which you can watch down below.
The Episode VIII director also showed black and white stills, taken from his own camera, of the actors on set.
One of the photos showed Kelly Marie Tran's character, Rose, in First Order uniform and another of Laura Dern's character holding a blaster in the fog. There was also a hint of a showdown between Finn and Captain Phasma.
