BREAKING: Star Wars 'Episode IX' Release Date Announced

Star Wars: Episode IX is now set for release on May 24, 2019.

Colin Trevorrow is set to direct the film which will be the third installment of the third Star Wars trilogy. Trevorrow has directed a number of films in the last decade, including the 2015 hit Jurassic World.


As of yet the title of Episode IX has yet to be revealed. 

The announcement was made earlier today by Walt Disney and Lucasfilm, who also confirmed that Harrison Ford will return in the fifth chapter of the Indiana Jones series which is slated for a release on July 10, 2020.
