Alden Ehrenreich has quite the challenge ahead of him. Bringing to life the younger version of a character beloved by many, that they just saw portrayed by the original actor in a film released three years prior to his film. Fortunately, it would appear the young Han Solo actor has the support of the original Han Solo actor, Harrison Ford. The two were spotted recently having lunch together in Santa Monica. A passer by spotted the duo and snapped a picture they then posted on social media. Check it out below,

Ford had been asked about what advice he might give the actor who would play Han in the new film (this was before the casting was announced) during an appearance on Ellen while promoting the home media release of The Force Awakens. Ford's advice: "Don't do it". Hopefully, he had some more helpful suggestions for Alden during their lunch.
Alden Ehrenreich will star as Han in the upcoming Han Solo A Star Wars Story film alongside Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian and Emilia Clarke in an unknown role. The film is directed by Phil Lord and Chris Miller, and will be released in 2018.
