Lucasfilm has released a new trailer for the second half of season three of Star Wars Rebels, which returns this Saturday with the two part episode "Ghosts of Geonosis" which features a guest appearance by Forest Whittaker reprising his role of Saw Gerrera from Rogue One. The trailer gives us another look at Saw, while also showing tantalizing glimpses of what else is to come from Season Thress, including the impending rematch, 17 years in the making, between Darth Maul and Obi-Wan Kenobi. There is lots to be excited about in this trailer! It looks like the back half of the season will feature lots of Mandalorian action. Plus, we see a gathering of Rebel cells led by Bail Organa and Mon Mothma to go up against Grand Admiral Thrawn (who is featured heavily in the trailer, including in one shot where he is accompanied by a pair of Death Troopers).
Star Wars Rebels returns this Saturday, January 7th at 8:30pm on Disney XD.
