Yesterday Star Wars Celebration Europe ended with a bang in London with the "Future Filmmakers" panel just before the closing ceremonies. Kathleen Kennedy and Kiri Hart were the first to take the stage alongside Pablo Hidalgo, and they were later joined by Star Wars: Episode VIII director Rian Johnson, as well as the directors of the upcoming Han Solo standalone film, Chris Miller and Phil Lord. The panel featured several surprises, introduction of Alden Ehrenreich as the new, younger Han Solo, as well as the appearance of some Episode VIII cast members. Star Wars: Episode VIII opens in theaters on December 15th, 2017 and the still untitled Han Solo standalone film is slated for released on May 25th, 2018.
