StarWars.com's 'This Is Madness' Tournament To Return March 14th

StarWars.com has just announced that the annual character tournament "This Is Madness" is returning next Monday! In the same vein as as the NCAA's "March Madness" Basketball tournament, This Is Madness pits 16 Light Side characters against 16 Dark Side characters in a contest to choose the most popular character of the year. This time there are several old favorites included, such as Obi-Wan Kenobi, Tarkin, R2-D2 and Ahsoka Tano, along with some new faces, such as Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron, BB-8, the Seventh Sister and Fifth Brother. In past years Yoda, Obi-Wan and Darth Vader have taken the title, so it will be interesting to see how different things might play out this year. You can take a look at the 2016 bracket below:

The tournament will begin on March 14th and a new matchup will be available to vote on every day until the championship on April 4th. The winner will be announced the following day on April 5th.

In addition, fans will have a chance to take their participation a step further and have the opportunity to win prizes! If you are confident you can predict the outcome of the tournament you will want to take part in Wookieepedia's "Predict The Madness". Head over to Wookieepedia and submit your guesses on each matchup, and the overall tournament. before the deadline on March 14th at 9:59am.
