We are now less than a month away from Star Wars: Episode VII - The Force Awakens coming to Blu-ray, DVD and Digital HD. Recently it was revealed that three retailer exclusives would be available at Walmart, Target, Best Buy and the Disney Store, each of which would include unique special features. The Target exclusive quickly became a fan favorite because it includes twenty minutes of bonus behind the scenes footage. Now, thanks to Yakface, we have learned that there is a bit of a catch to this.
@Sandman804 on Twitter shared a screenshot of an email they recently received from Target concerning the Blu-ray. In it, Target explains that the bonus content will not be distributed on an extra disc. Instead, a code and URL will be included in the packaging that will allow owners to download the content via Disney Movies Anywhere. You can see the email below:

So, the content will be accessible to those who buy the Target exclusive Blu-ray, it just won't be on a physical disc. I don't necessarily see this as a problem, but it is nice to know this prior to buying.
Regardless of your choice, The Force Awakens will be available on Blu-ray and DVD April 5th, and digital HD five days earlier on April 1st.
