You may notice in these photos that all the activity appears to be focused on the Millennium Falcon. What's interesting is that the ground surrounding the right side of the Falcon, where the boarding ramp would be, is covered in what looks to be sand. This could be a clue that they are filming a scene that is meant to be on Jakku. The various blue screens positioned on the opposite side of the ship is another sign that the crew is trying to block out the green environment in the background in favor of adding in a different landscape in post-production.
I don't know about you, but I never get tired of seeing stuff like this. It make the wait until December 18th almost tolerable.
